The Links, Incorporated, an organization comprised of over 10,700 African- American women from 270 chapters located in 40 states, the District of Columbia, Nassau, The Bahamas and Frankfurt, Germany includes service volunteers committed to educational, cultural and civic activities.

The Central Area is composed of 2,917 members residing in 17 states: Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
